I have been researching the breed for a long time and I am looking to purchase a Chinese bred Tibetan Mastiff. I desire one that is Chinese bred simply because of the more traditional coat. How can I get one? Do I have to travel to China, or can they export it here? What is the range that they cost (US Dollar)?

They should be able to ship it here, however you have to have the right connections. You may have to actually go to china to find one… or start chumming with the AKC show crowd and see if they know any breeders in china.
Hi. I too wanted the Chinese bred Tibetan Mastiff, and I have imported them from there. It was quite a costly and complicated procedure as the breed is protected there. I have pups by those dogs now if you are interested. I live in California.
